Description: Kyriakou family was one of the historical families of Kalamata, which had an important role in the Revolution of 1821 and later. In Kalamata, the family mansion is preserved and in the late 1930s donated to the Association for the Dissemination of Education by George Kyriakos, academic and Minister of Agriculture of the Metaxas government. Nowdays it hosts the Folklore Museum of Kalamata. Just opposite the park is the family monument.
