Description: Erik Dahlberg was born in 1625 in Stockholm. Between the years 1650-1655 he studied and also went on trips to Germany, France and Italy, among other places. He acquired great knowledge in architecture, which would later make him one of Sweden's foremost architects. Erik Dahlberg is, among other things, behind the construction of the fortification Lejonet and the fortification Kronan in Gothenburg, at the end of the 17th century. Erik Dahlberg died in 1703 and during his life also had time to be knighted.
