Description: The building is built on three floors with furnished attic, high basement and facade in yellow Flensburg brick, which connects architecturally to the neighboring house, the East India Company's house, which was built at the same time according to Carlberg's drawings. This is one of the few preserved 18th century houses in Gothenburg. The house was built for Birgitta Sahlgren who owns and runs Sahlgrenska sugar factory. Sahlgren held a sugar monopoly in Sweden and ran one of the country's largest companies during this time.
