Description: Ferdinand the 1st became a king on 10th of October 1914 as the second king of Romania. He ruled until the 20th of July 1927. Although born and raised in Germany he chose to fight against it during the WWI and sided with the Triple Entente. At the War’s end Romania was a much-enlarged kingdom as Transylvania united with Bessarabia and Bukovina and Romania. As a king he initiated major changes of the agrarian reform and of the universal vote.
