Description: Amador de Tucci was a Catholic priest and martyr born in Martos, Jaén (Spain). He was executed in Cordoba during the Muslim invasion of the Iberian Peninsula for proclaiming and defending the name of Christ under Islamic rule. He is the first Saint of the Diocese of Jaén and is the patron saint of his hometown, in whose honour the Parish Church of San Amador and Santa Ana was built.
